Where Can I Park My Car at the Port of Fort Lauderdale on Royal Caribbean
Be prepared to pay $20 a day to park in one of 3 covered garages that are next to the cruise ship terminal. You will pay upfront (cash, major credit card or US traveler's check only) – not when you leave. (verified August 2010)
There are several offsite parking lots with shuttles to the Fort Lauderdale port – the savings can be significant. If you are arriving by car the night before your cruise, several of the hotels in the area may let you leave your car in their lot while you cruise. However, you will need to stay at least one night before your cruise – look for "Park 'n Stay" rates advertised by the hotel. These hotels usually have a shuttle to take you to and from the cruise port. (verified April 2010)
When does my flight need to arrive in Fort Lauderdale for my Royal Caribbean cruise?
If you are flying in to Ft. Lauderdale Airport (FLL) on the day of your cruise make sure you allow plenty of time to get to the ship. Royal Caribbean recommends arriving in to FLL by 1:30 PM at the latest on the day of embarkation. After your cruise, your flight should not leave before 11:30 AM from FLL. (verified September 2010)

The Royal Caribbean cruise ships that sail from Fort Lauderdale are the
Grandeur of the Seas, the
Navigator of the Seas, the
Allure of the Seas, the
Oasis of the Seas, the
Jewel of the Seas, and the
Liberty of the Seas. The Oasis of the Seas is the newer ship and sails to the Eastern and Western Caribbean for cruises predominantly 7 nights long. The Navigator of the Seas and the Jewel of the Seas offer Transatlantic cruises which depart from Fort Lauderdale.
What time can I board my Royal Caribbean cruise out of Fort Lauderdale?
Usually, 12:30PM is when most ships allow you to board. Check your boarding documents after you complete online check-in for specific boarding times -- they may change. However, if you are one of the first people onboard the ship, your room may not be ready. While you may be allowed to check-in at the port earlier, you may also have to wait in a large waiting area -- not always the most comfortable place. Just make certain you are onboard the ship at least 90 minutes prior to departure. Otherwise, you may be denied boarding.(verified December 2009)
How much does it cost to take a taxi from Fort Lauderdale International Airport to Royal Caribbean's cruise terminal in Fort Lauderdale?
